Hammond's English Shepherds At AppleYard
Welcome to AppleYard the home of the old fashion Farm Collie. This breed has been with us for hundreds of years. Some records indicate that Roman Soldiers brought these dogs to the British Isle centuries ago. Once a common sight about cities and farms in the U.S., today these dogs are considered a rare breed.
Although consider with the
herding class of dogs, these collies adapt nicely as pets. Truly affectionate and extremely intelligent they are easily trained and very popular competitors at agility evens.
AppleYard Shepherds come in a variety of colors including Tri-color, light and dark sable, and black and white.
